White Paper Abstract:
The shift and increase in accessibility of technology has broadened its scope beyond cost-cutting or quality enhancement. Nano technology and IT have begun to increase global interconnectivity and to create new capabilities. What is need now from technology is simplicity of operations. This, of course, does not come easy and involves great backend complexity. The limelight has fallen on user experience and thus the threat to individual and corporate security has also acquired great importance. To take technology to the masses, a network of intelligent machines is essential to solve complex problems in real time at a fraction of regular costs. Thus Machine2machine communication presents several revolutionary possibilities outside of enhancing and augmenting computing power.
As technology moves across the masses and deep into the fringes of society, it will create unprecedented innovation. As technology becomes more accessible, we will see the emergence of applications that serve smaller user groups, at lowered costs and with the same robustness connecting enterprises, society, physical world & governments. This requires responsible behavior for providers and consumers alike.
