This paper starts by describing the Service Oriented Architecture and its impacts. The document lists the drivers for service orientation. The paper describes SOA life cycle processes. This papers describes SOA Reference architecture and its building blocks on which customer specific solutions can be build. The paper then describes the benefits and business values that service orientation brings and then ends with concluding remarks.
