White Paper Abstract:
This paper describes that the existing Network-Based Application Recognition (NBAR) feature is used to identify protocols so traffic can be classified appropriately for Quality of Service purposes. NBAR also contains a Protocol Discovery feature that displays various statistics of any NBAR-supported protocol traffic traversing an interface for the user.
