This document lists the audio codecs that Cisco Unity supports, and describes how to change the audio codecs that Cisco Unity uses.
During installation, the Cisco Unity Installation and Configuration Assistant gives you the choice of
installing system prompts in either the G.711 (the default) or the G.729a audio codec format. After the initial system installation, you can view and change the audio codec format of the installed system prompts.
