This document describes that the Cisco® AS5400HPX Universal Gateway offers high-density voice, wireless, fax, and data services. Cisco Any Service for Any Port for Service Providers (ASAP) architecture enables the platform to be used as both a Voice Gateway and a Network Access Server. The rich set of Cisco IOS® Software features available in the Cisco AS5400HPX Universal Gateway makes the platform versatile and deployable in a wide range of network architectures.
