White Paper Abstract:
Regional Registries are driving the adoption and usage of 4-octet Autonomous System (AS) numbers, however not all networks will be able to support 4-octet Autonomous System Numbers on the full network infrastructure from the first day. This paper will explain some considerations related to the full or partial lack of 4-octet AS support.
This whitepaper will document a set of considerations for a network operator, when the network does not have full 4-octet AS support.
