White Paper Abstract:
This document describes that Cisco Systems engaged Miercom to independently verify their new MPLSDiagnostics Expert (MDE) v1.0, an MPLS troubleshooting and diagnostic product. The Cisco MDE is an advanced network management product that uses Cisco IOS features to simplify and shorten the process of diagnosing and identifying MPLS network problems on enterprise and service provider networks. The testing was designed to measure the effectiveness ofthe Cisco MDE in reducing the amount of time to diagnose network problems over that of a manual process.
