White Paper Abstract:
The availability of the service offered to customers can be increased in a number of ways, including developing techniques to narrow the modem transmit window, designing return path segmentation, increasing the modem bandwidth or modulation complexity, decreasing ingress, and monitoring the plant for quality assurance (QA). Some recommendations regarding the cable modem termination system (CMTS) configuration will also be explained in this paper.
